Privacy policy
Effective October 28, 2026
SiteIQ is operated by Mile High Ideas (“MHI”, “we”, “us”), based in Denver, Colorado. This policy explains what we collect when you use SiteIQ on the web, on iOS or on Android, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions go to brandon@usesiteiq.com.
What we collect
Account information
Your name, email address and profile picture, and which sign-in method you use (email, Apple, Google or Microsoft). Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk; we never see your Apple, Google or Microsoft password.
Company information
Your company’s name, its branding (logo, colors and app name), its members and their roles, and how the company joined SiteIQ, including any invitation code.
What you create
Properties and their addresses and map locations; audits and their issues, types, urgencies and notes; photos and any markup you draw on them; the map location of each issue; and the messages you exchange with the SiteIQ assistant.
Location
With your permission, the mobile apps and the web app use your device’s location to place an issue’s pin where you are standing and to list nearby properties. You can turn location access off in your device or browser settings and place pins by hand.
Usage and technical information
Records of what happens in your account, such as an audit being submitted or its status changing, and technical information needed to run and secure the service, such as error logs. We record product events on our servers; we do not run advertising trackers.
Connected AI tools
If you connect an AI client such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, or create an API key, we keep a record of the connection, the access you granted and when it was last used.
How we use it
- To run SiteIQ: sign you in, store and sync your audits, and show your company’s data to its members.
- To deliver each audit you submit to the partner you send it to, and to show you the status updates they send back.
- To send service emails, such as a welcome email and updates when an audit’s estimate is sent, accepted or declined.
- To answer your questions and carry out the actions you ask for and approve in the SiteIQ assistant.
- To keep SiteIQ secure, prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and fix and improve the product.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
The partner you submit an audit to
When you submit an audit, we send it to the SiteIQ partner who will quote and do the work. Today that is our launch partner, Camco, an asphalt and concrete contractor. The audit includes your company’s name, the property’s name, address and location, every issue with its photos, notes, urgency and pin, and the name and email address of the person who submitted it. The partner uses it to prepare an estimate and do the work, under its own privacy policy, and sends status updates back to SiteIQ.
SiteIQ staff
A small team helps operate SiteIQ and supports its customers. Today that team includes Camco employees. Staff can view and manage company accounts, including their audits and members, to provide support, verify new companies and keep the service running.
Service providers
We use these providers to run SiteIQ. They process data on our behalf and only to provide their service:
- Clerk: sign-in, accounts and company membership.
- Convex: our database and application servers.
- Cloudflare: storage for photos, markup images and logos.
- Resend: delivery of our emails.
- PostHog: product analytics and feature settings.
- Anthropic, through Convex’s AI gateway: the language model behind the SiteIQ assistant. Your messages and the account data the assistant needs to answer them are sent to the model to produce a reply.
- Apple and Google: app distribution, and sign-in if you choose them.
Tools you connect
If you connect a third-party AI client, it can read and change your SiteIQ data within the access you granted. What that client does with the data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
Legal reasons and business changes
We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property and safety of our users, our partners or the public. If MHI is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of it, and this policy will continue to apply to it.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in, and local storage in your browser or device to remember preferences such as light or dark mode and to hold audits that haven’t synced yet. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account and your company’s account are active. When a company is deleted, its properties, audits, issues, photos and branding are deleted with it. When you sign out of a mobile app, it removes that account’s data from the device. Audits already delivered to a partner are kept by that partner under its own policy. We may keep limited records longer where the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your account details at any time from your profile.
- Company admins can update company details and branding, and add or remove members.
- You can disconnect AI clients and delete API keys from Settings at any time.
- You can turn off location access for SiteIQ in your device or browser settings.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing brandon@usesiteiq.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls that keep each company’s data separate, and approval steps for consequential actions in the assistant. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you suspect a problem.
Children
SiteIQ is a tool for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
